Did you know that building materials like lumber or bricks are salvageable? So are items like solid wood doors, flooring, windows, lights, cabinets, vanities, granite countertops and appliances! Whenever possible, we choose deconstruction before demo to keep as much as possible out of the landfill and offer the resale or reuse of quality items by another household.

Crown Warehouse has become an integral part of our business. They not only unbox and inspect each piece that arrives for defects or damage, they often are able to repair pieces right onsite with the wizardry talents of their team member, Beto. Their delivery crew provides high caliber white glove service, assembling each piece in the home, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and hauling away to recycle as much of the waste as possible.

As we enter into Women’s History Month, I’m taking a moment to introduce myself and share a little of my origin story with you. And throughout the month we will also shine a light on the many skilled, qualified, and tenacious women who have chosen careers in the trades and so many other male-dominated fields.
